I am so excited to start this semester and am so grateful for having this opportunity to be able to show my abilities with teaching and getting to know more people through the form of writing. With all of this excitement also comes some bit of nervousness for the shear fact that I will be helping students that are mostly my own age. But I hope to help them through the stages of the class and maybe answer some questions that they might have that I have already had experienced.
I also am open to the new possibilities that Marlen has given in this new Eng 101 class with the awesome idea of having a concert day and having the students being able to express themselves through their own form of identity. Knowing that myself and Dan had performed for our class and we were able to show our abilities through playing and singing, it was something that I would have never expected to do in a college English class. I just hope that the students from this class will be able to get to know themselves better through the teaching of Marlen and the help of his assistants.
